Policies
The Gamma Delta Pi sorority is committed to creating an environment where all potential members and initiated sisters feel valued, safe, and respected. In accordance with these values, we have established the following policies and procedures. If you feel like a policy has been violated, please send an email to the National Governance Board with information at GammaDeltaPiInc@gmail.com
-
The code of ethics emphasizes values such as integrity, respect, community service, accountability, and sisterhood. Members are expected to uphold these principles in their conduct, fostering a supportive environment that promotes personal growth and positive relationships among sisters.
-
Gamma Delta Pi expects its members to treat themselves and each other with respect and refrain from engaging in any form of disrespectful behavior or hazing whatsoever. Hazing is defined as “any activity, action taken or situation created, whether on or off campus premises, that has the reasonable potential to produce mental, emotional or physical discomfort, embarrassment, harassment or ridicule.”
-
Gamma Delta Pi in any instance will not tolerate bullying behavior. Sisters found in violation of this policy will be disciplined, up to and including expulsion from the sisterhood. Gamma Delta Pi defines bullying as repeated inappropriate behavior, either direct or indirect, whether verbal, physical, or otherwise, conducted by one or more persons against another or others. Such behavior violates Gamma Delta Pi Inc.’s Code of Ethics, which clearly states that all sisters and others will be treated with dignity and respect.
